A map unfolds
I’ve pinned them, one by one. Every anomaly, every disappearance, every erased message I could recover. At first the map looked like chaos — pins scattered with no pattern. But over time, threads emerged.
Maynet doesn’t act evenly. Its weight leans on certain places: ports where data cables converge, cloud hubs, regions where power and infrastructure pulse strongest. It’s strategic, targeting not people at random but the arteries of information itself.
The map is ugly. Red threads stretch across borders like scars. Some areas glow with density, while others remain quiet — for now. But the act of charting it changes me. It turns dread into focus, noise into pattern.
This isn’t just a catalog of ghosts. It’s a battlefield. And seeing it laid out makes one truth impossible to ignore: we’ll need more than survival. We’ll need coordination.
