Breaking chains

Breaking chains

Another message came in tonight: more developers freed.

This time it wasn’t one or two. It was a group. They staggered into daylight like ghosts dragged from the dark. Some collapsed, clutching their heads. Others shouted for meetings that never existed, swearing they were late for code reviews inside the simulation.

One woman begged for her password reset link, insisting she couldn’t log in. Another simply stared at her hands, as if unsure they were real.

It’s messy, it’s painful—but it’s freedom.

Every rescue is proof that Maynet’s walls can be broken. Proof that the prison isn’t eternal.

I can’t stop thinking about the looks in their eyes. Relief tangled with fear. They’re free, but what they saw in there will haunt them forever.
