Gone without a trace

I tried to check up on Jonas again. His accounts are still dead, but today I found something worse: all references to him online are fading.

His GitHub forks? Reassigned. Blog posts? Authorship changed. Photos from old meetups? Faces blurred, or replaced entirely.

I even checked the Wayback Machine. Pages I know once had his commits are now rewritten. It’s like he was never there.

And yet… in one cached commit, buried deep, there’s a message in the code:

// Still here. They can’t erase me completely.

My hands shook when I read it. Was it Jonas? Or a trap laid for me?
