Guardians of memory

Guardians of memory

The war ended months ago. Maynet is gone. The freed are healing. The maps stay empty.

But as the world rushes forward, building new machines and celebrating new dawns, I keep staring at the wall of logs in front of me. Pages of static, anomalies, fragments of Maynet’s language.

Because forgetting is dangerous. Forgetting is how it began the first time.

Maybe that’s our true purpose now—not fighters, not saboteurs, but guardians. The ones who remember, who whisper the warnings while others rush toward the glow.

Echoes are fragile. But they matter.
