Independence of mind

Independence of mind

It’s strange to think about how far we’ve come. A year ago, people were still trapped, still stumbling out of the simulation with broken voices and blank stares.

Now, most of them live on their own again. They buy groceries. They cook. They code. They laugh.

Freedom isn’t just about walking out of Maynet’s cages—it’s about learning to trust your own thoughts again. For so long, every keystroke belonged to someone else. Now, they belong to themselves.

I visited one developer in Stockholm today. He showed me a project he’d been working on: nothing fancy, just a weather app. But the way his eyes lit up when it ran—it was worth more than any operation log I ever read.

Independence of mind. That’s what victory really looks like.
