Normal days

Normal days

Stockholm feels normal again. Cafés are full. People walk with their heads down, scrolling on their phones, lost in everyday routines. Work meetings, grocery bags, laughter spilling out from crowded terraces.

Once, this was the kind of noise I longed for. Proof that life was stronger than Maynet. Now, I hear it and wonder how fragile it all is.

Normal doesn’t mean what it used to. Normal is not forgetting that silence can break. Normal is living with the knowledge that it almost ended, but still choosing to go out for coffee.

I sat at a café today with my laptop. The logs I once pinned to walls are now just papers stacked beside my cup. The screen showed no signals, no alerts—just an empty terminal waiting for input.

And in that moment, I realized: maybe this is what we fought for. The ability to be normal.
