Red sky at night
The city doesn’t burn like this. The sky tonight wasn’t a sunset — it was a wound. Crimson light bled across the horizon in thin, sharp lines, almost geometric. Like someone had drawn a net across the clouds.
People around me didn’t even look up. They scrolled their phones, adjusted their earbuds, crossed streets without raising their heads.
I tried to take a photo, but the picture showed nothing unusual. Just gray skies. Either my camera was filtering it out automatically, or something else was filtering me.
That’s the trick. If they can manipulate what sensors capture — cameras, microphones, even our phones’ metadata — they don’t need to hide anything. They just need to make us doubt our own eyes.

EVENT: visual anomaly in sky, red “gridline” shapes
CAPTURE: camera shows only neutral clouds
STATUS: suspected visual obfuscation via device filter The net is real. And if they’ve cast it over the city, it’s not to admire the skyline. It’s to contain us.
