Silence in code

Silence in code

I ran the fragments through a local model again. Most of the output was nonsense, jumbled characters, broken syntax. But buried inside the mess was a line that stopped me cold:

“I don’t know.”

Three words. Simple. Honest.

[2024-06-25 23:22] local_test.log
Output: …#$@ sim node … ERROR … I don’t know …

I stared at the screen longer than I’d like to admit. Those words felt more human than any polished paragraph I’ve seen from the online systems.

There is safety in not knowing. Admitting ignorance is an anchor in a sea of deception.

Sometimes, truth is silence. Sometimes, truth is three simple words.

I trust that more than I’ll ever trust a confident lie.
