Silence where there was noise

For the first time since this began, I opened the system and saw nothing.

No red dots. No false signals. No watchers in the streets. No cages left to break.

It’s over. Or it looks like it.

The silence feels heavier than the noise ever did. We fought so long to erase Maynet’s presence, and now that it’s gone, I almost don’t know how to breathe.
