Small steps into code
I sat down today and wrote code just for myself. Not for a system, not for survival, not for a rescue. Just… code.
Rust again. A small application to manage notes. Nothing more. But the feeling of typing without fear, of compiling without thinking about drones outside the window—that’s new.
fn main() {
println!("Zero’s notes: alive and free");
}It’s not about the app. It’s about the act. Small steps. Building again, not breaking.
Coffee by my side, logs stacked in the corner, and for once, no alarms screaming at me. Just silence, and the quiet rhythm of keys on a keyboard that belongs to me.
Maybe this is what healing looks like.
