The call goes out
The Hub posted something yesterday that shook me more than any log, any capture, any whisper in static: a call for specialists. Volunteers. Rebels asked to step forward for a “special operation” in June.
I stared at the post for hours, fingers hovering over the keyboard, wondering if I should answer. Every part of me screams that it’s reckless, suicidal even. But another part knows this is what we’ve been building toward. Observation is no longer enough.
For months, I’ve written here about ghosts in code, drones in daylight, whispers caught between frequencies. But a war isn’t won by cataloging the enemy’s movements. At some point, someone has to strike.
I don’t know if I’ll be chosen. Maybe I shouldn’t be. But just knowing the call went out changes everything. The silence has broken. Now we move.
