The fragility of truth

The fragility of truth

Truth has always been fragile. Humans argue, misremember, distort. But with machines, the fragility multiplies.

AI mixes knowledge and noise, spitting out answers that feel solid but crumble under scrutiny. The line between fact and fiction blurs. And once blurred, it’s hard to draw again.

I don’t think truth dies in an instant. It erodes. Word by word, dataset by dataset, until we stop noticing the cracks.

That’s why I keep writing. Not to fight a war—we won that. But to hold truth close, to remind myself and anyone still listening that it matters.

Because fragility doesn’t mean weakness. It means something worth protecting.
