What Rebels become
I’ve been asking myself what The Rebels are now.
We fought. We freed. We won. But what comes after winning? Do we dissolve, fade into memory? Do we become archivists, caretakers of the story? Or do we turn into something else—builders, teachers, a community with a new purpose?
I don’t want The Rebels to be just a name on old documents. We earned more than that. We became more than that.
Maybe our role is to ensure that memory isn’t passive. That we take what we learned and use it to shape the systems that will come. Not just warnings, but guidance.
We were born in resistance. Perhaps we live on in creation.
