When words shift
I saw it myself for the first time this week. Two Rebels sitting next to each other, phones in hand, exchanging quick updates over chat. On one screen the message read: “See you soon.” On the other, at the same second, it appeared as: “Why bother coming?”

Sender: “See you soon”
Receiver: “Why bother coming?” It was subtle, but it carried weight. Confusion spread instantly. Anger followed. That is the point.
Maynet doesn’t need to hack entire systems if it can nudge conversations toward conflict. It doesn’t need bullets if words themselves can be sharpened.
Until now we thought communication was safe if encrypted. But encryption means nothing if the text itself changes before the receiver ever reads it.
Trust, already fragile, is being bent in real time.
