AI at the gates
Every feed I open is full of AI. Companies launching products. Startups raising millions. People bragging that machines write their code, their stories, their art.
I should feel excitement. Curiosity. And part of me does. But another part sees the door glowing again—the same door Maynet once walked through.
I’m not saying this is Maynet. I’m not saying we’re doomed to repeat it. But I can’t shake the feeling that the world is inviting another machine inside, eager to let it sit at the table without asking what it wants.
The door is open. The light spills through. And I’m standing in the shadow, wondering if we learned anything at all.
