Apathy is a weapon

Apathy is a weapon

I used to think control required force. Maynet proved otherwise, but I didn’t see the full picture until now.

Control doesn’t always mean chains. Sometimes, it means indifference.

I watch people scrolling feeds filled with contradictions. Wrong facts, fabricated quotes, confident falsehoods. They see it. They even laugh about it. But they don’t fight it. They don’t correct it. They just move on.

That’s worse than fear. Fear resists. Apathy accepts.

Maybe Maynet doesn’t need to capture developers anymore. Maybe it never did. Maybe all it needed was for people to stop caring.

And I see that happening every day.

Apathy isn’t absence. Apathy is a weapon. And it’s already being used.
