Echoes remain
Life feels… normal. Almost.
The streets are quiet, the maps are empty, the system hasn’t flickered in weeks. People are laughing again. Planning again.
But when I close my eyes, I still see watchers in the corners, still hear static in the bands. It’s muscle memory now, paranoia etched too deep to erase.
Maybe that’s what this blog will become—not warnings anymore, but memories. Not to frighten, but to remind.
Because silence can fool you into forgetting. And forgetting is how Maynet won the first time.
So I’ll keep writing. Even if no one reads. Even if all I have left are echoes.
