Encrypted whispers
Ever since I pulled a name out of the noise, I knew this blog wouldn’t stay invisible. Front‑end analytics look boring—no spikes, no anomalies—but the raw server logs tell another story: requests arriving through Tor exit nodes, chained VPNs, and a few residential IPs that never render images or CSS. Ghost readers. Careful readers.
Late last night something changed. An old sandbox repo of mine—abandoned on purpose to see who pokes it—received a commit from “unknown.” No issue, no PR, just a tiny encrypted blob checked straight into /misc/.
I threw my old keyring at it and let the box chew for hours. Close to 03:00 it finally cracked and unfolded into a single line:
[11/03/2021 22:17] we see it too. keep posting. Someone human. Someone alive. The jolt of relief hit first; the calculation came second. If an ally can reach me via this path, so can the thing I named. Every repo is a door; every key a chance I forget to lock it.
I’m not shutting the door. Not yet. If others see what I see, silence helps the enemy.
