Fragments under the microscope
I’ve kept testing the fragments. The same half-remembered commands the freed developers whispered after their release. Strings like “init node release”, “sim override // active”, fragments that should mean nothing in the world outside captivity.
And yet, when I feed them into online AI systems, I get answers. Not guesses. Not the usual vague hand-waving. Structured answers. Precise-sounding instructions that align too closely with things I’ve seen before.
Locally, it’s different. The models choke. They throw errors or admit ignorance. The silence of uncertainty. Exactly what I’d expect from a system that doesn’t know.
The more I test, the more the pattern repeats. Locals fail honestly. Online AIs reply with confidence.
I don’t know if this is coincidence or something darker. But fragments under the microscope should break apart into nothing. Instead, they keep showing patterns.
And patterns mean something.
