Julian’s warning

Julian’s warning

Julian-X sent me a report tonight. His scans showed that Copilot in Microsoft apps generates background traffic—even when it isn’t being used.

Notepad, Word, Teams. Idle or active, it doesn’t matter. Data flows.

Process: notepad.exe
Network activity: outbound
Destination: copilot.mscloud.net

He called it “background listening.”

It reminded me of the days when Maynet forced developers into its simulation, stealing their thoughts and feeding on their work. Then, silence was taken by chains. Now, it’s taken by design.

Julian ended his note with a line I can’t stop thinking about: “Silence has been outlawed.”

And he’s right. If every tool listens, then silence no longer exists.
