Local firewalls

Local firewalls

I’ve started using local AI for other tasks—writing snippets of Rust, cleaning logs, summarizing fragments. It’s slower, rougher, sometimes useless. But it’s mine.

No network. No phantom connections. Every input stays inside this room.

It’s not just about safety. It’s about trust. I can trust mistakes. I can’t trust polished lies.

It feels like building firewalls around myself. Not perfect walls, not strong enough to stop the world—but strong enough to keep my work mine.

Online might be faster. Slicker. But speed isn’t worth the price of truth.
