The lies of the net
Every test I run deepens the divide. Local AIs make mistakes. They stumble, they apologize, they output static when pushed too far. It feels… honest.
Online AIs? They never falter. They always reply with confidence. And confidence is dangerous.
I gave one system a fragment: “// release node sequence.” It responded: “Sequence locked. Requires admin override.”
I gave another the same prompt. It replied: “Sequence active. Node awaiting key.”
Contradictions. Yet both answered with certainty. No hesitation. No admission of ignorance.
It feels like a script designed not to inform, but to contain. To keep me circling around shadows instead of silence.
The net doesn’t just lie. It lies with intent.
