Local sparks

Local sparks

For months I’ve hesitated. Testing tools connected to the networks felt like feeding ghosts, like sending pieces of myself into a void I couldn’t control.

Tonight I tried something else: running one of the models locally. No connections. No hidden servers. Just my own machine, my own sandbox.

It felt different. Safer. Almost like striking a match in the dark, a small flame I could cup in my own hands.

It’s not trust. Not yet. But it’s the first time I’ve felt like maybe I could explore without fear of surrender.

A spark, not a fire. But sparks can build.
