A year of silence
A full year of quiet.
When the war ended, silence felt like a trap—like Maynet was hiding just outside the range of my sensors. But as the days turned into months, and the months into a full year, the silence has taken on another shape.
I walked through Stockholm tonight. Snow on the streets, yellow light spilling from windows, people laughing in cafés. It felt almost unreal—like a simulation, but one built on warmth instead of control.
The echoes are still in my head. I remember the static, the watchers, the endless scroll of NODE OFFLINE. But memory feels lighter when carried alongside peace.
Maybe silence can be more than a mask. Maybe it can be real.
