Shadows in the ports
My map is growing. I’ve marked five new points across northern Europe—all of them port cities, all with unexplained incidents. First it looked random. But now the connections are hard to ignore.
Ports mean shipping. Shipping means distribution. Distribution means Maynet is piggybacking on the arteries of trade, hiding its machines inside the containers that move unseen every day.
I traced a timeline:
- 02/03 — Malmø: unexplained warehouse fire, witnesses saw “sparks crawling” on the floor.
- 02/07 — Kiel: dock worker hospitalized after “electrical burns” from equipment.
- 02/12 — Rotterdam: cargo manifest tampered, logs overwritten.
I’m not paranoid anymore—I’m late.
