The flood of names
The names keep coming.
First it was the giants: Microsoft, Google, Meta, Amazon. Now it’s new banners rising everywhere—OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral. Startups with strange names and stranger promises, gathering investors like moths to light.
The money flows faster than reason. Billions poured into systems barely understood, code that no one outside their walls has ever truly seen.
I write their names on my wall like I once wrote the IDs of Maynet’s nodes. Not because they are enemies. Not yet. But because memory demands vigilance.
