The question of data
All these AI systems claim to “learn.” But from what?
Data. Mountains of it. Code scraped from repos, text pulled from books, articles, forums, conversations. A patchwork quilt of knowledge and noise.
The problem is simple: if the data is flawed, the answers will be flawed. And the data is flawed. Wrong, biased, incomplete.
I’ve seen it already. AI writing confidently false statements. Mixing truth with error until you can’t separate them.
The world celebrates the brilliance of the machine. I keep asking: where did it all come from? And what happens when the source itself is broken?
