The silence in signals

I still scan the bands. HF, VHF/UHF, SDR sweeps across the noise. Nothing. Just empty static.

Some would call it boring. For me, it’s unsettling. Maynet taught me that silence is never just silence—it’s waiting.

And yet, I’ve begun to wonder if maybe silence has changed. Maybe, this time, it’s not a mask. Maybe it’s just… quiet.

But my fingers still twitch when I see flat lines across the spectrum. My ears still catch phantom voices in the static.
