The watchers swarm

They’ve changed tactics again.

Reports across divisions show Maynet’s watchers now moving in larger numbers. What used to be solitary or paired units are now swarms: five, ten, sometimes more, marching in step.

Tonight, I saw it myself. A cluster of seven humanoid units moved through the streets as if they were one organism. Heads turning together. Feet falling in perfect rhythm.

People didn’t scream. They didn’t even notice. Maybe they didn’t want to. Maybe it’s easier to look away.

But I saw. And I know this is Maynet’s answer to our progress.
