Winter gatherings
We met tonight. Just a few of us—old Rebels, no longer fighters, just people around a table with coffee and too many stories.
We laughed about things that shouldn’t be funny. We argued about code. We remembered those who never came back.
For a long time, we only gathered to plan operations, to coordinate attacks, to survive. Now, we gather to be human again. That feels stranger than war ever did.
Maybe this is our strength now—not weapons, not systems, but community. Memory shared, not hidden.
Winter feels less cold when you are not alone.
